Services We Provide

Darknet Proxy is first and foremost a link directory. The majority of the content found on this website is user generated (UGC) in the form of links, reviews and comments of external websites found on the darknet. Many authorities have determined that UGC is a form of Free Speech and should be afforded all of the same protections. If you have a concern about a link or comment on this website, please consult our Abuse section.

The second aspect of this website is our proxy service. To help facilitate the benefits of our link directory, we run special software that allows viewing of the darknet. While it may appear that the sites linked in our directory are under our control, they are not. Darknet Proxy is simply a "conduit" as defined in the safe harbor section 512(a) of the DMCA. As such, the "notice and takedown" provisions of section 512(c) of the DMCA do not apply to the proxied sites viewable through Darknet Proxy. We do not host any content so there is simply nothing to takedown.
